Bentley I am disappointed to be going there, being the big fish in the small pond suits him and will massage his ego enough to make him perform.

Kenny Miller is shit. Even if scores against us, he is shit, and Kevin Phillips at 36 would be on my team sheet long before him.

Houllier at the press conference said we are after several targets so I am hopeful a striker will arrive before Carew is let go.

When Bentley joined Spurs he said it was a dream come true and it was his boyhood club, made up etc etc.
If he can't perform consistently for them, he won't for anyone.

It says everything about that Scouse oik Warnock when Wayne Bridge sounds like a very good idea.

He’s a decent enough player. Not good enough to play for England and better than Warnock- who has been woeful. Chuck in Samba in the middle and I think the backline will offer a lot more.

It still needs better protection from the middle and ultimately a goal scorer up top.

I agree totally Monty. I think it is a major problem within the team and one that has perhaps been under-estimated in the bigger scheme of things. Though perhaps that is because I am an ex full back myself!

It's all set up for Miller to get a late winner against us now.

I'd be happier about having him than Bentley though. He thought he'd made it when he went to spurs. Everything that's wrong about modern day footballers he is.
