anyone who watched qpr last week live on sky will have seen kyle walker put in a tremendous man of the match display , looked a really attacking right back and delivered several great crosses and also looked solid in defence- warnock was saying on goals on sunday he was desperate to keep him at qpr but the premiership clubs were after him.

id far rather sign him permanent than on loan - will prove to be a class signing!

I think we were after both Sheff U full backs at the time - but they both ended up at Spurs reserves. Naughton was the other one I think.

Remember see them in a play-of game a couple of years and they both looked very good - so a step in the right direction if the deal comes off.

If he's that great why don't Spurs keep him? Alan Hutton's not exactly Cafu, is he? We need a proper left-footed left back not another right back.

Happy days for us, too, as we've mostly been worried sick he'd sign for us.

Kyle walker is a quality right back and we need a right back- I'd expect us to bring in a left back too! Spurs have hutton and corluca so can afford to let him leave.

Sad that keane is in talks with blues - a class player who will improve them no end , should have been a villa player on several occassions but hopefully we have a striker lined up!

I honestly never wanted him.
Busted flush in my opinion.

I wouldn't swap Heskey for him on current form.
Delf is a young, decent prospect.

I'll give you lazy, disinterested Carew though.

No, trust us, we dont want him. He's a decent player but, no thanks.
I do think he'd be a good move for Blues though.

By the way Sheldon, how good are the Haiku on your forums?

I would have taken Keane in the summer - not my first choice, but a signing I would have liked.

If we're now playing 1 up top he doesn't fit in anymore.

Don't want Keane as I can't stand his whinging and moaning at every single decision. He's a journeyman - look at his CV. A talented player yes but never stays too long in one place (except Spurs). Wonder of he still drives buses around the Wolverhampton one-way system?

Every move keane made was a step upwards so who could blame him- from wolves to the premiership then onto inter were great deals at his age, o dreary signed him when Leeds were all the rage near the top and then spurs and Liverpool were both good moves for him.

I'd class journeymen as someone who moves from average club to average clubs- keane has been a very good premiership player for a decade and done it at international level so definately much better than journeyman.
