Bendtner IMO would be a good signing, he's never really had a run of 15 games or so for Arsenal.

Indeed, because he's crap.

Even when they had no fit strikers, they'd sometimes play without any strikers rather than use him.

I disagree, he's a very underated footballer. Hold the ball up very well and brings players into the game and scores a few. He's been injured this season which is why we may not have seen much of him. Besides, if he was a crap as you say, Wenger would have sold him by now. All about opinions i suppose though.

Wouldn't mind Bendtner.

I think we might need another CB if we wants shot of Davies and fatso (the way Celtic have defended this season he will fit right in) and Chris Samba for £6million would not be too bad.

I like these links to talented youngsters like Fofana and Romeu but they will need good experienced players to guide them and the youngsters we already have like Clark, Bannan, Albrighton, Hogg and Lichaj.

The deal for Fofana has appeared on the Sky Sports website now, saying he is having a medical.

I think Bendtner would be great for us if it's true.

I'd like Bendtner. But he's a bit of a twat, is Ged the right man to get the best out of him?

Weidenfeller, Wheater, Forfana, Bendtner would be a decent window for me,
(although I know nothing about Forfana).

I'd look at Rosicky, Woodgate on loan, Krancjar and Tuncay too.

Who's Fofana? What position does he play? Is he a good signing?

Defensive midfielder from Le Havre in the French second tier. Le Havre have a great record of bringing through young talented players. Also French under 21 Captain. Buzz is a fee of below a million.

Bendtner would be a fantastic signing IMO. He is a 15 goal a season man with a regular starting role IMO and a bit like Defoe, will be selfish and always shoot, but will get goals. If we could get him, this Forfana, Wheater as has been said and a good full (left!) is a must.

Woodgate on loan would be a good deal if we could get him fit. A top keeper would also be useful. I think Big Brad is past it myself.

Is there anything worth looking at in the Championship?

Surely one or two Man City reserves are worth a look.

David Wheater has apparently told his teamates he is coming to Villa.

I'm in Middlesborough visiting family and they are all convinced he is coming to us up here.

Is there anything worth looking at in the Championship?

I've always thought Shane Long at Reading looks a decent shout, Westwood as a keeper, Naughton & Walker full backs both on loan from Spurs. I'd hoped we would have gone for Gylfi Sigurdsson when he left Reading last year.  Don't know how he's doing in Germany but looked a class act.
