They will be desperate to keep him. He would be quite likely to stay as it would seem there is a chance albeit a small one of the clubs swapping leagues and him making the wrong decision. So moving now might not make the most sense to him.

From our perspective it doesn't make much sense to buy him now as we need to have all hands to the pump and carry no passengers and take no risks with players. We need to have the onus on getting results rather than attacking play or players who try things that don't work. For me that is best achieved by a strong midfield of committed hard working players who have some talent. We already have Bannan, Delph and Ashley Young who can play as an attacking midfielder or second striker and will most likely have all three until the end of the season.

I think he's been great since he moved to QPR but he has been hot and cold. Next season if we are doing decently in the PL (of which I have every confidence) it might make sense to bring him in if QPR are struggling and he has taken to the top flight.

I think a bit of Confidence/creativity in the middle of the park is needed to get out of trouble. Every year we see 'hard working' and organized teams go down. The problem was they couldn't get goals. Delph is a box to box midfielder, Bannan is a Xavi type deep play maker and Young is a winger. I have not rated him in that attacking midfield option.

Taarabt reminds me a bit of Le Tissier and look how long he kept Southampton up. We have organised players, we now need to be less predictable!

I put him along side Gylfi Sigurdsson who was sold in April for £6m to Hoffenheim. So I am sure we could get him for roughly the same. I cannot think of a Championship player being sold for more.

The reward of promotion to the PL is about £60m all in. His actual value is irrelevant, because that's what he is worth to QPR.

The more I watch of Scott Parker the more I wish he was in our claret & blue.

The effort, energy & passion he gives is just what we lack from our whole team.

Fully agree PTV, but some on here don't rate him.Always rated him, and wish DOL had got him when he tried to get him.Plays with passion and energy, with no little skill, exactly what we miswse today.

Dont see Parker swopping one team in turmoil for another.
He'll be wearing a shirt with the words 'Investec' on the front this time next week.

And Qpr look nailed on for Promotion, whilst there is a very real possibility we could go down.

Omar Cummings by definition is worse than: Clint Dempsey, Landon Donovan, Ricardo Fuller, Eddie Johnson, Jozy Altidore, Edson Buddle, Robbie Findley, Hercule Gomez... That it should come to this.
