If the club signs these sort of players , it will make the like of Ash Young etc want to stay...

Our team has declined from the peak of 2008  because we did not have the financial power   and  management  know how to buy  better players to  kick on. This has resulted in likes of Barry, Milner and now Young being enticed away by Agents who were able to sell them the "dream ticket". We need to sign  these  exciting players from abroad to re-inforce the belief and  give  ourselves a chance of  keeping the  likes of Albrighton and Bannan in 3/4 years time.

Well, it depends what "crazy money" is.
I want to keep Ashley Young but if a daft offer comes in, and lets face it, that could really only come from Man City, Chelsea or Real Madrid, you'd have to consider it. Especially if he hasnt signed a new contract.

He's into the last six months of his contract with Le Harve I believe, so that figure, if accurate, is a good price for all parties in the circumstances. I'd like to think we're adding sell on clauses or more money after so many appearances or international call ups, to keep Le Harve sweet and that we're conducting ourselves in the gentlemanly manner which helped us steal a march when acquiring Fabian Delph from Leeds.
As said before teams like Le Harve, who have a reputation for blooding good youngsters, would make very good allies in the long run.
