I think Dunne would be pretty easy to move on if we needed to.

It's only six months since he was in the Premier League 'Team Of The Year' and that will give him an awful lot of credit with people who haven't seen him play too much this season.

I agree. I have heard that Liverpool are interested...

A few clubs will be getting a bargain.

I am not so sure. I cannot think of a heavier player in the Premier League. I thought he was fantastic last season, btu i am now almost certain that he was playing so well due to his desire to prove Man City wrong to let him go. I am now worried he is at his natural level.

I do not think he will play like that (last seasons level) once he leaves us, as he will feel he has nothing to prove to Villa.

Hmm, i do have some questions with Gerard his changes. But i'll wait untill february to make a judgement. I'm curious though, things can't get worse then now do they?

So they'll get more for their money.

Where would Dunne go?

It's a real shame that he's had such a poor season, last season I thought he was superb.

Liverpool? Possibly, although the Liverpool fans would just rip him to shreds like they have with every other Hodgson signing.

Bolton, Wigan? Move back to the North West?

Stoke?!

like to see him fit before we flog him. Obviously if losing the pounds puts his nose out of joint then get rid.

If the Guardian article is to be believed then I think Houlier has his finger right on the pulse.

It all depends on who he brings in now.

Can't see that happening.
The only thing I could suggest is sticking him on a treadmill with a sweet trolley, just out of reach at the end of it.

Don't know what to make of Dunne, we shouldnt forget he was excellent for us not long ago but we wouldn't miss the others mentioned if they are properly replaced. Big if.

That's like saying lets keep Carew because he is our top scorer of the last few years.

Get rid of the lot and let's see what Houllier's got, remember he has a very solid base of young players at the club in nearly every position.

Think Wheater is the obvious replacement. Would be hungry to be back in the prem and Downing a good mate of his. Oh and only 2m plus half Dunnes wages .....

Would anyone take Samba to replace Dunne?
