A mate of mine reckons Rigobert Song was at the game last night. Not sure how true this is, but could this be a January signing?

Just going by what a mate's told me, but how he know's i've no idea. It's probably bullshit he's been told, let's hope so.

Maybe he was there to see Blose? They could do with a new song.

I rate Piquonne, he's looked good in poor Pompey and WHU teams.

Seems like the sort who is ideal for clubs scrambling around the lower end of the table. Would hope for far better.

Only on loan though. Long term he causes damage to any club with a bit of ambition about them.

I'd prefer taking a risk on Piquionne than buying a tired old has-been like Keane.

I understand, well reading between the lines, Man City will not release players to clubs that are of comparable stature to them.  There was a lot of speculation that Arsenal wanted Given but City would not let him leave.  They would however let him go to Fulham but he chose not to.

With Belamy, I think the Cardiff/Welsh thing actually appealed to him, but I doubt Belamy would be allowed to leave for a top half table in the Premiership.  We could be in with a chance then (boom boom etc etc).
