Davies will be sold in January if Leicester or anyone else offers 4m.

I'd look at getting someone like Shawcross in, maturing into a fantastic centre half at Stoke.

Anyone know if we put a sell on clause into the Cahill deal. That would give us some free money if Bolton sell him for 10m +.

Here is the challenge.

It's the worst I've ever seen, not for the faint hearted.

Not quite sure i would like that kind of player down VP, tbh.

Mind you, has he shown any remorse at all, and any repeats of that kind of challenge?

What happened to Defour? Is he playing again as he was injured for a while.

I'm sure he's back playing and in good form.

Taggart is an admirer though.

I recall Witsel making a public appology before his 11 game ban started. Don't think he has made a habit of that kind of tackle.

Defour is back playing for Standard, he had a pretty good game last night, he's one of those players that does all the simple, non spectacular jobs for the team, would still be a good purchase, doesn't seem to be showing any ill effect of the leg break last year.

Cahill had a £17m release clause written into his new contract.

O.k, Think they might sell for a bit less if Spurs offer 15m. If we have a 20% sell on clause then that's a free 3m coming our way.

A quick browse of a few Bolton fora suggests that we have 25% of any profit. So a £15m transfer fee would give us £2.5m.

It is usually based on profit for sell ons so sounds about right.

Seriously doubt we could 1. afford Shawcross, or 2. Get him to come when he may be waiting for a top 4 side to come in.

I might be tempted to make a cheeky one for Lescott from Man City you know.

There are lot better 'keepers out there we should be looking at in the summer. Only problem is both Arsenal & Manyoo will be in the market for new one's too. Although United should have that Danish fella signed by then.

Roman Weidenfellar from Dortmund should be available on a free
Maarten Stekelenburg must be looking to challenge himself in a real league
Samir Handanovič from Udinese would be a great signing

I don't think McGregor is up to the standard we should be looking at.

I claim my John Blackwell alias name prize (smiley face).

Yeah sorry to disappoint! Two of those listed were at the WC this summer and the other plays for the current top placed Bundesliga team. Besides there's nothing wrong with expanding your vision a little further then B6, we live in a global community now a days!  Put down your mince and potatoes and try something a little more exciting, something spicy, you never know you might just enjoy it! **winky face**

Was only joking of course BedsVillain, I have heard of Maarten Stekelenburg a damn fine keeper. Haven't heard of the other two hence the joke, more taking the piss out of myself. I only like spicy mince and kumara (sweet potatoes).

Don't worry JD all taken in the jest that was intended, I miss the Blackwell as much as the next man. Will never be able to match up to the mans obscurity. As hard as I try, I just can't seem to find those 3rd division Bolivian reserve games on the internet!
