There's no way Ash can go, especially mid-season. All of the clubs marketing/hype is built around him.

Hopefully we can shift Carew in January, that'll save us about £1.5million in wages and then we'd get a small fee (£1m?) instead of him going for nothing in the Summer.

Hopefully that'd allow us to get a striker in then too, so he'd have 6 months to settle before next season, just like big John did when he signed.
