I think a signing of that nature would be brilliant. As somebody else commented, we'll more than likely finish the season strongly with the players coming back. A top striker and big name would give us the extra morale boost.

6 goals in 11 appearances for Gyan, that's a cracking return for a PL newby.

He has made a good start, but remember that lad at Wigan 2/3 yrs ago, Amir Saki or whoever it was, he made a crackning start then fell away badly.
As others have said, lets judge Gyah this time next year and see how he is doing then.

Spending the equivalent of a small countries GDP and having Mourinho as manager might have something to do with why they're unbeaten too. Not sure what we could take from that.

Not that I'm saying theres all that much to this but you dont have to pay all of his wages. You can agree to pay a percentage as long as Madrid agree it.
From Madrid's point of view, possibly, if they're not going to play him he's just taking up resources and may as well be playing somewhere else.
