Annan was good as a defensive midfielder for Nigeria in the World Cup and would probably be cheaper than Makoun. We could then have a midfield of Annan and Bannan, if only there was a decent player called Cannon.

I am certainly more of that view than I used to be....though still unsure!

We already have a striker in that category in Delfouneso, so I don't see the point in signing another one.
