Overall I'd say it was a good signing.

He had a decent profile in Europe when he joined us, one of our few 'names' and he'll have been with us four years this Jan. For someone known as a bit of a nomad prior to joining us that's not bad.

A bit more consistency and he could have been phenomenal.  But then with a bit more consistency he probably wouldn't have been with us.

There's a lot of assumtions in there, to say Nathan is too big for his boots based on one incident that may or may not be toally true is a little harsh.

Every time I have seen Delfouneso play he looks like he has got something a bit special, but it's not just Gerard who hasn't played him, Kevin Mac appeared reluctant to pick him in the first team. I just hope it gets resolved soon as my lad wants 14 and Delfouneso on his new shirt for xmas.

Nothing against you personally, but I hate posts like this as I always find a way to convince myself it's a possibility (not getting a look in at Madrid, Geeza's French Connection, etc.) to the point where I start imagining where he would best fit in the team.

And I always end up disapointed.
