Houllier will have massive contacts throughout europe with his FIFA connections.  I think his scouting team will have been very carefully selected. One of the papers says that Sulley Muntari could quit Inter, i think he's the type of midfielder we should be looking at, he's an all rounder who can tackle, make play, pass and shoot don't think he's that old with a transfer fee of say £10m he'd be good value. Suprise suprise he's been linked to Spurs.

GH has stated he sees A Young as a second striker and not a winger, so I would take Kranjcar or preferably Bentley to interchange with Downing/ Albrighton.

Not for me. He's as inconsistent as Carew. He's not really much of a brick shithouse in my opinion. He's certainly not really adapted to the Prem. Carew probably should go, but said replacement would need to be a lot better than Elmeander. I'd actually rather have Kevin Davies.
