I completely forgot that some folk have pre-ordered.

I feel for those that have, they should recieve a home and away shirt for the price of one shirt at the cost of Nike and not Aston Villa

Perhaps they should just cancel their orders. And then tell them why.

The supply contract the club has with Nike must surely have a 'deliver by' clause in it and the non delivery must enable the club to trigger the termination of the contract for next season to be replaced by another supplier who is starting a new relationship with the club and as such would be eager to please its new client ( AVFC) - however were way too mamby pamby to do this and will let Nike walk all over us and that, I'm afraid is typical of our club - were a soft touch.

Shambles - more revenue lost when we need it the most. This on top of the europa exit.

Piss poor in my opinion.

Let's hope we don't end the contract, or we'll wait until next August before signing another one, and have another fucking excuse.

This is the second delay, and the club blamed Nike for the first one.

We must be losing a significant amount of revenue and credibility, something Nike should be apologising for, not the club.

Totally Nike's fault, and you would hope that the relevant people at the club are commercially astute enough to have the sort of clauses in the contract to deal with problems like this.

That said I think that the quality of the Nike products over the past few years has been very poor.

Time for a change of supplier. We will always be an also-ran in the Nike stakes, let's move to an organisation that will value our "brand" and produce quality products in a timely manner.

Right. So we'll ignore all the praise the club's had for its on- and off-field business deals over the past four years shall we?

John Greenfield should have someone at Nike's nuts in a vice-grip over this.

I don't like the kits so wouldn't want them to be kept for two years but agree they should be discounted significantly.

I think the fit of this year's kit is poor, especially the collar. We should consider moving to a new manufacturer.

I don't follow that.

Why does criticising one thing they do mean you're ignoring all the other praise they've had?
