It is getting so bad I'm considering not renewing next season. I don't pay all that money to be stuck in my car for an hour after the game. Private companies seem to block off roads around the stadium - how is it okay for them to do that there yet not for someone to do the same at the end of Aston Hall Road?

Do you want a personal valet too?? It's a pain in the arse yes, but if you want big gates etc. well, suck it up. The stadiums in the middle of aston, not on a purpose built roundabout towards the end of the city.
It doesn't even need a copper, Council contractors close down the roads off Witton Lane with barriers and bollards, it would simply be another job for them as they seem to stand around for an hour and a half waiting for the game to finish. I cant help but think though that it would be better finding out who is the B'ham Councillor responsible for highways and taking it up with them.
They apparently need to see an accident caused; someone injured; a celebrity having problems with the public in traffic .... just something to give them a reason to employ ONE Copper at VP for 2 hours.

We had bigger gates two years ago and the traffic there was much better due to the presence of one copper.Strikes me that a club that usually has 7000 empty seats and can't sell out for its hated rivals or Man United should be concerned about anything like this which concerns regular customers.Everyone knows it takes a while to get away from football grounds, but when the situation arises which makes it much worse, and there exists an obvious remedy, that is a pretty good example of what this thread is for.Recently after a match i saw cars parked both sides of Aston hall road, leaving not enough room for two cars to pass, and a 40 ton lorry coming towards the ground. Leaving aside the question of people trying to get away from the match, that is a ridiculous traffic situation that the police are allowing to happen.

The £25 tickets are reasonable yes but the club need to seriously rethink the £45 tickets, we haven't sold out against Blues or Man Utd which tells you everything you need to know. Our highest priced tickets were about £30-£35 just a few years ago so how can the club justify a £10-£15 increase in a few years when we've done nothing on the pitch to justify it.
