We have to do this bubble thing, it will be carnage otherwise. The fact it will be dark before and after makes it even more necessary, I know it's an inconvenience but peoples safety must come first.

General; why don't we just lock in small heath fans after the game? If that happened yesterday I don't think there would of been much violence yesterday. Letting both fans out at the same time wasn't the best thing to do in my opinion.

Seen this from the lower holte and it was obvious he had lost his balance and went arse over tip, as soon as he got to his feet he stepped back over the hoarding then  was grabbed by the steward, the way he was manhandled was a disgrace (did it really need 5 stewards to keep hold of him as he was led out  whilst he was not resisting)  the way the stewards handled this was poor and there was a lot of resentment  aimed at them from the section where i sit.
And now both ITV and the BBC have highlighted it i hope them stewards feel proud of themselves,,,
Talking of jobsworth stewards  there is a head steward that stands in the corner of the lower holte  (under the screen) if anyone happens to see him, just watch him he is such a jobsworth really seems to get off on telling the little kids to sit down, but if anyone looks older than 15/16 he never says a word to them (sometimes its funnier watching him than the match)

General Krulak here:

1.  Stewards:  John Handley (Head of Security) and I have been talking today on the steward issue.  We concur, some of the stewards have not covered themselves with glory lately.  John is aware of the concerns of the Fans and will be talking to all head stewards to ensure that they maintain a perspective when they are carrying out their duties.  WE HAVE HEARD you, the Fans, and will take this one on and do so very seriously.

Thanks for your swift reply to us all on the stewarding matter, much appreciated.

I know you can't fully answer the following player-related question though, but I hope at least you will understand the concern that our manager's comments about Stephen Ireland yesterday will have raised.

Namely, whose decision was it to sign Ireland, bearing in mind we were under a caretaker manager when it went through and the deal involved so much money? I can't believe he is a player MON would have wanted because of the very reasons Gerard gave yesterday and that Ireland will never fit into a 4-4-2 system for those same reasons. Ireland was a delight to watch for Man City at times and has a great passing range and vision - but he was guilty of leaving his defence exposed time and time again, particularly when playing in tandem with Robinho. Certainly not a MON type player.
If it was the caretaker's decision should the club really have allowed this to happen bearing mind that the incoming manager might not have fancied having him (as is appearing to be the case)? And if it wasn't Kevin McDonald's decision to buy him then who else at the club is choosing which players to buy?
I'm not knocking Ireland - I'd love to see him become a regular with the team playing some attacking football, but it is how we came to sign him that just doesn't add up to me.
The only deduction I can make from all of this is that the Milner/Ireland deal was being forced upon our previous manager and that is the real reason why he decided enough was enough.
I hope we haven't ended up with a highly paid expensive signing who just doesn't fit into the way we play.
If that is the case then we would have lost less money by putting a halt on the Milner deal until January when the new manager could choose his own replacement. Like Barry before him Milner is professional enough to have carried on giving everything for the team until then.

Have you ever been on a bubble trip !      I think you will find the purpose of it , is to stop at risk supporters travelling , as we live in the same City

Tickets ,   where are they going to get us to meet VP ,  then bus us all to the ground , hope you like the sound of breaking glass , after what does the bubble protect  you from  !    I can understand your reasons , but it would not work for so many reasons .  I think you would probably be more at risk of physical harm ,

Wouldn't it be easier for Villa to lay on coaches to Blues for those who want them, and let those who prefer to make their own way, do so?

It will obviously be an inconveniance if everyone was forced to travel by coach, and some Villa fans live nearer to the Sty than VP, so plenty would rather make their own way there.

However I understand that others will not fancy the post match walk of death (especially if we've won!), so maybe if the club layed on a few coaches from Villa Park this would make everyone happy? I know we like to have a pop at all the Blue Noses coming to our place by coach but if I'm honest I can understand it to an extent, especially those with kids.

Good man, Simba.

General, I recently found my old Subbuteo set in the loft (attic) at my parents' house. I have the Villa team c1987 but I'm a player short (I presume it's Hodge and he's refused to play). Do you fancy a match sometime? I'll even play with only the 10 men. Just name the time and the place.

Have you got all the accessories required for that big match atmosphere? The crowd and the dugouts, and the floodlights too?
