General, will the west brom derby game still go ahead at 3 o clock or will the kick off time be moved for police reasons?

It would have been moved by now. Albion v Wolves is in December aswell and also isn't on tv but has been moved to 12pm on the sunday by the police.

Hi General.

I guess a sensitive question here - but how do the people in the business stand regarding the Liverpool saga? I guess it is not black or white, but I can understand both sides of the matter (less H&G, and not at all their compensation amount, but still - they invested a lot in the club, for good or bad). But do the clubs meet and vent their opinions on such matters? or is it strictly Liverpool FC ?

Hope you will be at the Villa - Man U game, and that you decide to drop in on Bartons after the game :)

Hi general, I hope you enjoyed your quick visit and got home safely , I'm sure you will be tired after so much travelling.

How was your meeting with mr houllier, he is a fantastic asset to our club and I think we will have a tremendous journey with him as our manager, I hear randy's son was playing his 1st american footbalL  so randy stayed in America to watch - hope it all went well.

General, did you get chance to go to the North stand lower yesterday? Has the catering come back ''in house''? It is the worst I have seen it since Randy took over.

General Krulak here:

1.  Tried to post when I got home on Sunday but my computer was on the blink.

2.  The Game:  Saturday was the first time I had seen the lads play in person since last season.  I was impressed!!!  The passing was crisp and accurate, the challenges were consistent...fair but tough, the movement was superb...lots of movement towards open spots on the pitch, the defending was excellent.  All in all, I saw a professional team on the pitch playing hard for their Club.  It was good to see.  Yes, Chelsea had two starters out...but we had 4 out and one more left during the game.  We had chances, they had chances.  It was a well played, hard fought game.  No "hoof ball."

3.  I met with GH and, as I have indicated before, he is the consumate professional.  He knows the game....he cares about the Club...he communicates extremely well...he is 110% into the game.  He was faced with a different line-up...and did not get the word on two of his players until shortly before kick off....yet he had everone ready to play when they needed to be ready.  The lads went out and executed...as testiment to them and to the Manager.

Nice one General.

I can see that ending up on the back pages somewhere..

'Villa Director in blast at O'Neill's style of football'

Aston Villa Director, General Charles Krulak says he is glad to see the back of Martin O'Neill and what he called his style of soccer as 'hoof ball'.
''It was so bad under the O'Neill regime that we had to discount season tickets in the Holte End and North Stand Lower tier' ''The ball never touched the pitch'.
He went on to say '' We even had a couple of fans complain that pigeons had shite all over their faces whislt looking for the ball skywards''
''It really was that bad''  said the General. However, since Gerard Houllier has been at Villa, things have changed dramatically. '' It will take time'' says Gordon Cowans, Villa legend from their European Cup Winners side. ''Player are realising that 'hoof ball' played under O'neill was not so 'terrific' afterall.

General Krulak here:

1.  I hope that the media won't take my comment as an indictment of MON...it was not intended that way.  I was just pleased to see the crisp passing and the movement to open spaces...plus the obvious effort put out by the lads.

2.  Not  sure that Rooney is in our future.
