Thanks General.

In light of the potential transport issues on Boxing Day, could Villa not utilise the services of a local coach company and offer a coach from towns such as Stourbridge, Halesowen, Dudley and so on?

If I am not mistaken (I know one of the bus drivers), the Villa Specials will be running on Boxing Day - £5 return and there's one that goes from Kingswinford, through Stourbridge, then follows the 9 route into town.

I know I'm not the General but just trying to help :)

General Krulak here:

1.  greenwichvilla:  As I have said many, many, times...I don't always get to each question...it's called a "senior moment" and when you get older, you will know what I mean.  The TV contract is just that...a contract.  We cannot just up and say, "NO" to a time so long as it fits within the parameters of the contract.

Didn't Manchester United refuse to move one of their games for television over the Christmas period a couple of seasons back?  Do they not have to adhere to the same rules of these contracts as other clubs?

I was thinking this. Wasn't it against Middlesborough? They wanted to kick off at 8pm on New Year's Eve?

Hi General,

with our link to the AFL is there any chance that we could arrange a match at VP?

I would love to see a friendly between the Browns and The Packers [my team!] at VP

Any chance?

General,

if ever the bloody Packers come anywhere near Villa Park can you please have the place disinfected before I have to attend again please?  ;)

Much better to invite the 4-1 Monsters of the Midway!

Fascinating fact (or perhaps not) for you... Sitting Bull and his touring Wild West Show played the Aston Lower Grounds (where Villa Park is now) sometime in the 1880s. It attracted the lowest crowd of the whole tour as it clashed with a Villa v Small Heath match on the same day.

I'm not so sure, maybe we should canvas opinion.

General Krulak here:

1.  ManU and moving a game:  Again, I confess that I am not aware of the movement of a game...but if others are aware, then I believe them.  What I do know is that the current contract does not permit a team or teams to "just say no."  I, personally, do not think it is a good idea to have a game on Christmas Eve...that is a time for the Family.

2.  Thanks for the definition of Bollywood.  I will mention this to Alison Plant...it is an idea that certainly fits with our desire to be an inclusive Club.

3.  I don't think we will see The Browns at Villa Park anytime soon.  That is not something that Randy would want to do for many reasons.  Just from a logistical point of view, can you imagine the cost of transporting a hundred players, coaches, medics, staff and tons of equipment to the UK?  I think we'd rather spend the money on something/someone else.

Could Gerard have a word with Ashley about his diving. We don't like it.

And just so you have both sides, could Gerard have a word with Ashley about being fouled. We don't like it.

Have you met gerard yet general? I am very happy with the feelgood factor at the club under him and he is a hugely refreshing change from o neill .

When do you next plan to visit villa park general, maybe the man u game? It is a while since we beat them down here but I feel we will do so next month.
