General, with regards to the kit, please don't try and keep it for next year.

I really dislike the new kits because of the horrible chequers up the side.

General:

You may find some interest in a thread on this site, based on an article in today's Times by the previous chairman of this great Club and which refers in glowing terms to his successor:

General Krulak here:

1.  We get very little notice of date/time changes for matches and we ALWAYS give the Fans the news as soon as we get it.

2.  Nice article from Doug.  As I have said many times, he and I get along very well.  His heart and soul remain Villa.  I am not sure the MON issue went down quite the way he said but that is a nothing.  He loves the Club and that is what counts.

I knew it! the little liar.

Good old Doug, never one to let the truth get in the way of a good story. Gotta love him, the silly old fart.

Hi General

Just been on the AVFC website ticketing section and noticed the advertised deal for half-season tickets.  These are being advertised in my section (Trinity Lower) at £285 for 12 matches - £23.75 per match.  I purchased my FULL season ticket in July at £495 for 19 matches - £26.05 per match.  Where is the fairness in that sir and what incentive does this give for current season ticket holders to renew for next year?  Whilst I understand the need to grow the number of season ticket holders, this kind of marketing. which penalises existing loyal supporters. may not go unnoticed when it comes to renewal time next year especially with the ever worsening economic situation.  Kind regards.

i think you have also shafted existing season ticket holders! just like a cable tv company that introduces special introductory rates!
Be wary, i will go down the olbeyun!.  Well obviously i wont but may consider my finances at next years renewal dates!

In fairness to villa we do have Chelsea, Man Utd, arsenal and spurs at home before the ennui December, so I'd expect a half season ticket to be cheaper without those teams.

Hi General I hope you're well.
- in light of the fact that the Spurzzz game on Boxing Day will be kicking off at the downright bloody ludicrous kick off time off 5:30, may I suggest that Villa contact the bus and train people to try and do all they can to try and ensure there is a sensible amount of public transport available both before and after the game?

Public transport is shockingly bad and I remember last boxing day there was no public transport at all. Not everyone has their own transport and of course this could seriously hinder the attendance on the afternoon/evening of the game. Not everyone has their own transport, and not everyone lives within walking distance of Villa Park.

On another note I asked you a while back about the problem I had in purchasing tickets for the Blackburn cup game before the Everton game for friends and was unable to do so as the ticket office were only selling tickets for that match (despite the ticket office being very quiet). You commented about how you could understand my frustration and you would speak to Nicola Keye.....any news?

Just one issue General. This is propably me, not wanting to do a deeper research (but as a customer, it shouldn't be difficult to find out).

I bought the Iphone app, and joined up for the AVTV section of the application. Now i get all the services on the Iphone. Worked really nice.

But - i can't access AVTV on the Villa website, as all I get is a page to sign up for AVTV, which I thought I had done with the Iphone app.

Maybe it is two different products - but in either case - its not very user friendly to sign up. You might pass this on to the AVTV team. (Critical input)

Up the Villa

Edvard - I think you have to pay extra for AVTV.

I have paid for AVTV on the Iphone app (1 year) . Is the AVTV on the website a different one?

General

If you could have a different user name on this site, what would it be?
