Not happy about Kick Off time for Boxing day. It messes up alot of peoples day with families etc...  I know the club cant probably do everything about it but I wish Sky would just **** off sometimes....

Bearing in mind there will be virtually no public transport that time of day, i do agree and it's maybe something the club could have considered before agreeing to the change (that's if they had a choice).

Hello General.
I am a season card holder and in the home cup ticket scheme, is it really necessary for the ticket office to waste paper and postage sending us seperate tickets ? Surely its relatively easy to put a system in place so its just swiped on the card as with normal league games ?
I keep the season card in my wallet at all times just like a credit card but the seperate tickets go in my bedside drawer until match day. Im sure I will forget the ticket sometime and have to go back home in a panic, or worse Mrs Lochhead throws it out when she goes on one of her tidying purges round the house.

General Krulak here:

1.  The Club holds no sway over kick-off times.

2.  An update on the kit:  A firm date for the issue of the kit will be given on 25 October.  The kit will be issued as follows...Home Kit first followed by the Away Kit about a week later.  As I mentioned earlier, the Club had no recourse but to delay the kit due to faulty material of the initial offering.  The problem with the kit was highlighted after the Celtic Shirt went on sale.  We just did not want to release an inferior kit.  We are still in discussion re. "shelf life" of the new kit.

Do you mean that Sky can push you around when they like or that you can't refuse the TV money? Enjoy the empty seats on December 25th.

I think there will be even more empty seats on the 25th than on the 26th!

General Krulak here:

1.  pete3206:  Simply put, like all Clubs and all businesses, we sign contracts...for many things.  To renege on a contract clause in order to appear like we are not being "pushed around" is not something the Board would do.  You may not appreciate that fact but in business, it makes for an environment of trust and faith.  Yes, we will probably not have a full stadium...and I can assure you, we won't enjoy it.  At the same time, the word of our Club has to stand for something...when we sign a contract, we can't just dump it because the dates don't meet our fancy.  If this is taken as being "pushed around", so be it.

General,

Are you in a position to give an opinion of the goings on at Liverpool?

General Krulak here:

1.  greenwichvilla:  I am not sure I am in position to comment on Liverpool other than to say that Liverpool, like Aston Villa, has a strong tradition and I hope that they come out of all of this intact.

Thanks, General, but most of us hope they don't!
