General

Any truth in the rumour that next season's shirts will be chequered?

If this is the case, will they be a claret and blue version of the Croatia shirt?

I personally don't have a problem with the new shirt being delayed (even though I think it's not very good service) because I think too many people get sucked into buying a new shirt every season. I hope we stick with Nike for a long time because afterall, Nike are the biggest and best sportswear company in the world with all the best teams having Nike as their kit sponsor and with Villa having Nike, it only does more good making us having a great kit sponsor who make kits for big teams. As they say over in America, ''look good feel good play good''

Nike > any other kit sponsor.
every one knows adidas are the original and best at everything! Retro and kits, nike would never have fucked manure, Barca, et al like this, we have been treated shabbily and they dont give a frig!

General is it sensible to unveil a manager but then not have him take over for a number of weeks leaving the team in limbo? I appreciate notice periods and all that in "usual" employment but o other team seems to have this holding period when employing a manager - why us?

Is it worth me adding Mr H to my Christmas card list, General? I don't really want to pay to send it to France.

General

Is it fair on Kevin Mac to have him in charge for any longer than is absolutely necessary, given that he was interviewed and rejected for the job?

Apart from having an impact on the team, it seems very unfair to expect him to be in charge again at the weekend.

I've got a horrible feeling that things are "drifting" now, which worries me.

General,

Can we get Houllier in as quickly as possible, we lost three points tonight because we're making simple mistakes that players actually getting coached should fix.

Also, can you tell Dunne to stop with the pies and ask Houllier to threaten Warnock with a loan spell at Coventry, again.

Thanks.

General, what is your opinion on the fact that our "manager" was at an award ceremony in France tonight, whilst Tony Pulis was bereaving the death of his mother today, and still went out of his way to ensure he was there for the second half inspiring his team?

Obviously Mr. Houllier has contract issues, but you'd honestly think the club would have sorted these issues out with the FFF quite sometime ago. We have had zero preparation. Laughing stock tonight. Same old shit.

They have a manager who sadly lost a family member, but still turned up and changed the game round with his substitutions.  We had a "manager" at an awards dinner, and we still don't know when he starts.  We're a laughing stock at the moment, a leaderless, rudderless ship. Shambles.

General

First time I've posted on this thread as I can remember and I would have to agree with Paulie.  I'm sure we all know that having a bloke in charge of the team who has been turned down for the job he wanted just isn't good both for Kevin or the club.  We can't continue to blame MON's dash for the ongoing confusion and at the very least Villa and Houllier need to give a date when this situation is going to be resolved.

General K does the Board have any idea when Houllier will be in 100% charge of the team.

If they do is there any chance you will tell the fans.

The whole appointment of our new manager has been nothing short of a shambles. The whole procedure was wrong, we should have identified a No1 target and gone out and got him, if wasn't available you look at the next on the list. This whole applying bollocks makes us sound like Walsall.
So, over a month after O'Neill goes were still without a manager who is sitting in France eating his posh dinner at an awards ceremony whilst Tony Pullis can still turn up after the death of his mother.

The lack of signings, the cock up of the replica shirts... if this had have happened 5 years ago there would be protests down the Trinity Road.

Not good enough.

I think that sums it up just about perfectly.
