"the fans are the most important, passionate vocal there fantastic". "we want places of honour, lets have the progress" sounds good to me!

is there anywhere we can watch the press conference at 2pm?

On the BBC news website:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/a/aston_villa/8987996.stm

cheers, but for some stupid reason they don't allow this to us folk outside the UK.

can't get it going Mark. No big deal. Thanks anyway. I'm quite disappointed that AVTV aren't showing this live. I do wonder why I pay for it sometimes.

Sounds like he's been cramming a few Derrick Spinks books. Or reading from cue cards.

huh??? I thought it was only the Stoke game he was missing. Bolton is a week away. That doesn't make sense. I imagine he'll have some other people in place to help direct but still.

Contract with French FA. He will be there to see the game.

fair enough. I'm sure there will be plenty of contact between him and the club. Like I said, I assume he'll have some of his people directing stuff in his absence. Any word on his assistant now that KM is going back to what he does best?

He seems like a really honest and switched-on guy. Long may it continue.

For those of us abroad and unable to see the press conference, proof he's actually here:

Came across very well, oozing confidence. I'm very happy we're in safe hands - he looked healthy too.

Seemed quite witty and funny as well and clued up on our squad.

SSN are saying he'll be in charge for Bolton though.
