U-18s continue winning streak
« on: September 04, 2010, 05:44:36 PM »
From Pravda:

Quote
Villa made it back-to-back wins in the Barclays Premier Academy League with a convincing victory at Portsmouth.

Steve Burns' team are now unbeaten in their first three league fixtures, following the opening day draw against Liverpool and last Saturday's win over Blackburn Rovers.

Republic of Ireland under-16s striker Michael Drennan fired Villa into a 2-0 first-half lead on the South Coast - his first goals of the season.

In the second-half, the points were wrapped up when Birmingham-born Darious Darkin came off the bench to net Villa's third.
