FWIW I'd prefer to see more crumpet on MOTD.  Sack Colin Murray and draft in Cheryl Cole and Kelly Brook.  Then we wouldn't give a tinker's cuss what the running order was.  In fact I'd not notice if they didn't show the highlights at all.

It's not just the football either. When was the last time the BBC or ITV or anyone else had a major drama series set in the Midlands? How many drama series have there  been in the last 10 years set in fucking Manchester?

Maybe if the area became more successful we wouldn't think this way. Outside of one or two high points, collectively the area has won next to nothing in the last 20 years.
