I'd play:

Friedel
Young Cuellar Dunne Warnock
Albrighton NRC Ireland Downing A.Young
Gabby

I'd agree with that.

As shit a week it's been. If scores stay as they are, and a couple more go our way, we could actually be 3rd tomorrow with a win!

This is my first game since the 0-1 defeat to Hiddink's Chelsea 18 months ago. Regardless of the result it will be interesting to be at the last match before a new dawn emerges at VP. Nice that there is some sort of exhibition on beforehand to commemorate 100 seasons in the top flight, my flight is in at 07.30 so a lorra time to kill.

I'm a defeatist and therefore blatantly assume that we're going to lose, and yet I've been told 2-1 Villa by a neutral. May God have mercy on us all, but mainly him because I still think he's misguided.

Prove me wrong gentlemen, prove me wrong.

1-2 Everton

Friedel
Cuellar - Collins - Dunne - Young
Young - NRC - Petrov - Ireland - Downing
Gabby

Is how I'd go. Keep it tight and try and get a point.

On TV too so yet more embarrassment to come.

Is Warnock out ?

Nah, I think he's shite.

We'll win, and this time tomorrow we'll be sitting in 4th place. Hire a top manager next week, and a signing or two by Thursday. All will be good at B6

How about 4-3 to the Villa... with a late penalty appeal by Everton waved away by the ref.?  ;)

We must play 4 - 4 - 1 -1, none of this 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 - 1 bullshit. If nothing else the last 2 games have shown how vulnerable we are with this formation.

                Friedel
Cuellar - Collins - Dunne - Warnock
Young - NRC - Petrov - Downing
                Ireland
                Gabby

I think we'll win 2-0

I havent been so pessimistic about a game in a long time.
My head is saying we will shoot ourselves in the foot and lose 3-1 and we will be plunged further into `crisis`.
My heart is saying look what wigan did at spurs yesterday, and we will win 3-0 and everything inthe garden starts to look rosy again.

I work with a few Everton fans, and they're almost as despondent as we are. I think we'll stop the rot with a decent but ultimately unsatisfying 1-1.

0-3 Beckford hat-trick after coming on as a second half sub before which we looked good.

Coopers Injury to spontaneously combust in his seat in the  Upper Trinity.

Unlikely as that's mean he'd have gone to the game.

1-1 with Cahill getting a late equaliser.

Have gone for a draw but if we play 4-4-2 or any variant of we will get battered
