Marc Albrighton

Has to be said he was the one silver lining with the very dark cloud that was our performance tonight. He never stopped chasing the ball even if it was a lost cause, his running and movement down the wing was exceptional, and the way he beat four of their players to have first shot was unbelievable. To me he could an absoloute legend if we can keep him. His acknowledgement of the crowd after the final whistle also shows what it means to him, even if the other players don't give a shit.

He MUST start taking freekicks and corners, Ash has forgot how to take a free kick.

If we had a team of players with his skill, commitment and intelligence we would be unstoppable. He's a cracking player and well done for Kev Mc and the other coaches that have done so well with him.

Ash hasn't taken a decent free kick in about two years.

Best deliverer of the ball in our squad. Should definitely take Ashley's place at corners and freekicks on current form.

He is class.  Needs to keep himself fit and out harms way from the tackles that will keep flying in.

I don't want to put too much pressure on his young shoulders but he did look good again.

He almost scored from one tonight.

He looked very good.

I also noticed that A.Young did not play him at least twice when he was in great positions, which seemed a little strange, but instead Young went elsewhere, almost like he didn't want Albrighton to be the star. Though I'm probably wrong.

I don't think you're wrong. I saw that aswell and thought the same. Professional jealousy?

Possibly. You can't knock A.Young's effort, but if he's not going to pass to others because he wants the limelight, that's just not good enough.

He did do well again today.

Had a wonderful opportunity to put Ash in in the first half and messed it up though, but I don't think that's down to any problems between the two!
