Don't forget Big Bad Martin not giving Davies  a chance, a chance he so richly deserved.

I know it's not fashionable to do so but that was one of the few things I agreed with Martin on and I still believe he was right.
He was also the guy that spunked over 8 million quid on him, so go easy on your praise

And tbh the season he was on loan and his partnership with Laursen, he was worth it. Since then he has gone backwards.

Yup. It was either going to be us getting another and starting to play a bit or them scoring and us folding like a pack of cards. They look beaten already.
