Because every Villa fan knows that the next manager is "crucial" to the progression from the strides taken with MON. And if that progression stops now, we could easily slide into a mid-table team ................

Hitzfeld would be a tremendous catch.  Lets hope that this rumour is true.  The guy is a true winner.  What more could we ask for?  Furthermore, he could attract other players.  Fingers crossed......

Hitzfeld would be a great choice and ties in with the rumour earlier today about it being an international manager , I would be thrilled with this appointment and it may well be klinsmann who has recommended him?
