Another super fun day is in store before Villa's Bank Holiday Sunday game against Everton on August 29 - based on a very special season for the club.

Villa and Everton are the only two clubs in the country to boast 100 seasons in the top flight. The Merseysiders reached the milestone in 2002, and this is Villa's 100th season at the top.

That makes the 191st league meeting between the teams - the most-played fixture in English football - all the more intriguing.

Before the game (kick-off 4pm) there will be a special 100 Seasons at the Top event in the Academy building behind the North Stand.

You will find a display of the trophies, a mini cinema showing the 1982 European Cup final and a Walk of Fame, while a number of ex-players will be signing autographs.

There will also be lots of photo opportunities and interactive displays, plus a quiz for kids to test their knowledge of the club.

It won't be too hard, though - all the answers can be found along the Walk of Fame and every participant will receive a prize!

Then there are the usual face painters and balloon modellers, so it promises to be an event to remember - hopefully followed by a Villa victory over Everton.

A family ticket for the game costs just £50 and admits two adults and two children.

How quaint it sounds when put next to Sky and Sheikhs.
