Song for Luke Young.
« on: August 21, 2010, 08:55:48 AM »
Apologies in advance.

Young, man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, Young, man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, Young, man, 'cause you're back in the team
There's no need to be unhappy.

Young, man, back in your place at Right Back.
I said, Young man, all the others were cack.
You can stay there, if you keep playing well
Oh at Aston Villa FC.

It's fun to play for the A-V-F-C.

You've got me practising the arm movements in anticipation.

The A, V and C are easy to do but the F is tricky. I'd suggest just doing the A and V and then clapping for the last two.

Perhaps this would be appropriate with O`Neill gone.

You could stick your arms out straight to the side to make an F. [Or an effing fool of yourself.]

Never mind the letters, I am wondering how to convey, in song, the correct grammatical use of commas

As a smoker, I just throw in a comma when I'm short of breath, which is often.

To convey a comma in this song I think you put your right arm straight up in the air and move your hand up and down at the wrist a couple of times.

I said, Young man, good job too as you're earning a stack.

Hope you don't mind, just a little modification.

Done that already tonight. On roller-blades. Lots of fun.
And I have the swollen ankle to prove it. The 'C'. That's what did it for me.

Drummond-Curse I'll call it.
