Football got to learn ex players doesn't always make good media staff. Make sure they meet certain standards.

The coverage was very bad for all of the above reasons.

But at least we got to watch on the old TV and for free. 

Be thankful for this.

I know what you mean, but Dowie is intelligent - he has a Masters degree in Engineering. Not particularly articulate, though.
