just read stephens 2nd interview on the website and he really seems like a nice chap who is going to give his all to the club.  He keeps saying how good it is here, family club, how he likes how we play and thats the way he likes it.  HOw good the training session was,  how polite everyone is.  I think ...no i know !! we have got one of the coupes of this summer and i might even go as far to say we have got one of the coupes of the last few years !!!!  Some of you wont agree with me and everyone is entitled to their opinion but this stephen irelend is going to be SHIT HOT !!!!!

2 door sporty car? surely if anything he's a cabriolet

Anyone see his interview on SSN this evening? Seems like a good guy and based on what he said about his relationship with Manchini (being very distant), strikes me as the sort of player who needs to be loved and will revel in being the hero. Let's hope he is.

Let's hope he doesn't get target by some of our more, erm, alternatively supportive fans then. He's definitely not one for the fans to get on the back of.

really positive stuff from Steven. I also like that he sticks it to James Milner and says that "He thinks the grass is greener on the other side but He'll get a shock soon because it definitely is not".

I'm genuinely quite excited about this, now that it's happened. Didn't want JM to go but it was inevitable so this brings a change and I reckon a pretty good one.

Sounds like he's got his head screwed on, definitely not the impression the media usually give of him.

I already love him.

This guy is clearly already highly motivated to do well for us and that could be bad news for everybody else.
