Frank and Edie Beach
« on: August 14, 2010, 08:16:18 PM »
I was saddened to read in the programme of the death of Frank in May. Edie passed away several years ago.

They were both devoted to the Villa and always had smiling faces to welcome you onto the old Travellers Club coaches or when Frank came to give me my lottery tickets.

I hope that they are looking down on Villa Park today, happy that the new season has started so well.

RIP to them both.

I remember this couple well. Real Villa supporters. Frank of the black blazer. R.I.P.

Frank used to drive round in a little car with Aston Villa FC printed on it.
When he bought my lottery tickets round in the 70s/80s, people would be looking to see whether it was a player.

During half time they ran a period of tribute with photographs of people, associated with the club, who had died during the last year. Frank was there with a beaming smile on his face, as ever.
