I won't boo him, but fuck all this "cheer him" nonsense that 17 soft tarts have voted for.

I agree, really he should be nowhere near the first team so we shouldn't be in this situation. He wanted to leave I'd rather his place was taken by a hungry reserve or youth player that wants to give 100% for Villa although it is starting to grate that most people just see us as a stepping stone to 3 x their weekly salary. You can't blame Jimmy, he's not a Villa fan, he's got no loyalty to us, Barry taught us that.

But it gets on my nerves how Man City fans get on their high horse about us waving fake notes at Barry when he came back - lets be fair if my wife after 10 years of marriage said she wanted to leave me for Brad Pitt it would upset me but I'd get over it, turning up trying to justify shacking up with Bernard Manning leaves a sour taste.

Sing.   One James Milner there's only one James Milner !!!!

Why on Earth would you do that or give him a special send off??? Im not going to boo any of my own team but I'm certainly not going to make things any easier for him about leaving. He's going for the money end of story, I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't somewhere else next season after getting frustrated on their bench.

Let me get this right....

We have an Aston Villa player who will soon move to Man C and MAKE us £14 MILLION POUNDS!

He gave/gives 100% when ever he plays but want to move to another club which has offered to double his wages......

And some of you are saying boo him???

Fuckin wasters

I wouldn't boo him, but only for Villa's sake. But is there any need to be insulting to other posters like that?

I can understand people wanting to voice their disapproval  although I wouldn't make it easier for him ,plus I think we're getting the best out of this deal.

Doubling his wages to 120k, like anybody needs that much.....

If he had any sense he'd wait to see if a big team came in for him. Then again they won't because he isn't that good.

As for calling people 'Fuckin wasters' ,thats a bit of a wankers trick. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

Just my opinion. Any Villa fan who is happy to go to the Villa and KNOW they are going to boo a Villa player is a waster as far as I'm concerned. If you guys think differently then thats fine with me, we all have our own opinions.

Right but you don't have to insult people with your opinion. You could just state that you don't think he should be booed, which I agree with for the team's sake.

Not a great deal of point in booing him. I can't quite see why KevMc is planning on putting him in the squad. Save it for when he comes back and sits on the bench.

He's always given his all for us when he has pulled on that claret and blue
I am dissapointed that he would want to go and possibly warm the most expensive bench in the world
#but were I at the game today I would cheer him to thank him for some great memories
if that makes me soft
so be it

Its time to circle the wagons and not start self destructing. Booing one of ours is beyond the pale. If you want to do that why not stay at home.

A far more diplomatic way of saying what I meant ( I get your drift PaulWinch). Thanks lovejoy.

I wouldn't boo him a much as I feel let down. It affects the entire team, though I wouldn't stand in anyone's way of showing their displeasure in he returns for Man City. Get behind them today and the points. Let's be honest, we are getting a hell of deal out of his transfer.

How many booed when he was taken off after the way he played today. Proper professional to the end on the pitch.
