Doubt it, but Steve Staunton might.

Just a thought but if it was kmac and he got the saints job do you think mcandrew and cowans  would go with him ?

No.  And he won't get the Saints job either, why are you suddenly going on about this all the time?!

They won't be current managers and one will be Phil Brown.

They might have said it, it doesn't make it true, though.

Can't people remember watching England under Sven screaming make a bloody sub. I've had enough of that with Martin.

I still wake up at 4am screaming 'DO SOMETHING SVEN, ANYTHING'

What would be the point paulie? Sky are also saying 2 current prem managers have applied for Southampton job- it would be ridiculous to say it if not true- I would reckon holloway would be one.

Not having a pop, but you do seem to naively believe everything you hear on SSN or read in the papers.

The statement was released by Southampton, not the papers- also it was pete colley who said thommo WOULD be new assistant manager, nit might or could be, and in that case sky as his employers should know that.

I appreciate a lot of papers talk bollocks but I find sky sports pretty reliable mostly.

I too was very surprised on hearing the Southampton news but please don't shoot the messenger.

L'Equipe are reporting that Phil Thompson WILL NOT be Houllier's assistant.
