Interviews have finished- they were conducted in London  over last 3 days and randy is heading back to brum tonight- curbs was interviewed , now it's a question of choosing new Manager- hopefully we may hear tomorrow- mirror website confirming interviews at a London hotel.

What utter rubbish. If the Mirror knew all that, then they'd know who else was interviewed other than Curbishley.

Perhaps they just haven't got the stomach to tell us who the others were.

If this is true about Curbishley then to say I'm underwhelmed is a bit of an understatement. Blimey, aren't we a bit more of a draw as a club? He'd send us backwards and has the charisma of a house brick.

We knew interviews were starting on Monday anyway and all mirror has revealed is curbs was one and randy and Faulkner have been in a London hotel 3 days conducting them- now randy's heading back , why the heck would the mirror know all the names?

Just because they know curbs was one doesn't mean they know the rest - let's hope for an announcement tomorrow.

Curbishley, Mourinho, Hiddink and two others I'd wager.

Curbishley, Jossy from Jossy's Giants, Brendan from Coach Trip, Chantelle from Big Brother and a small lump of rocquefort cheese.

Why would'nt The Mirror know the names? They claim to know every other aspect of Randy's Lerner's week. The Mirror know sod all, always have done and always will do. I'd be surprised if they held interviews in London of all places, bearing in mind it's where the national media are based.

And what makes this person any more 'ITK' *spit* than me saying Monday Curbishley, Tuesday Staunton, Wednesday O'Leary, Thursday Keith Chegwin, Friday Doug Ellis and Saturday we just choose to quietly cease trading?

Regarding Moyes - My wife works in the city (Liverpool) and was told by two different people today (one a red, the other a blue) that Randy Lerner met with Moyes yesterday in a Liverpool hotel/Bistro.

Furthermore I was told by a trusted friend that Dunne and some of the squad are talking up Moyes as their preferred choice of replacement manager. Dunne still has good friends (in the media) up here on Merseyside and was speaking about this following our victory over Everton.

Could all be bollocks of course, however I have no reason to believe these people are either being mischievous or malicious.

Finally some bookies on Merseyside have suspended betting on Moyes coming to B6 . Only time will tell.

Of those appearing in the frame Sven is the only credible candidate that can also work with kevin Mac.

I would be dejected if Curbishley got it.

The first people to start defending him would have to be shot too.

They'd knoW more than you or me clampy, they even know the hotel, maybe they had a tip off about curbs- doesn't follow that they would know the others- and it would be highly stupid to report randy being there with Faulkner if he wasn't there for 3 days.

Why not London? They were hardly going to do them at villa pArk in the media glare.
