From Pravda's media watch :

"Express and Star: Ronald Koeman today reiterated his desire to manage Villa and claimed his agent has already been contacted by the club with a view to succeeding Martin O'Neill."

I'd rather give it to untried Kevin Mac than to the tried and failed a few times already Koeman.

He went out with Richard Gere. He liked small rodents. See the connection.

I saw a mouse. Where? There on the stair. Where on the stair? Right there. A little mouse with clogs on. Well
I declare. Walter Smith with a heiffer in hand.

See now? Easy. Good. Well done.

McDonald would be rock bottom of my list to take the Villa job. He looks lost on the bench - completely out of his depth. I fear for Villa if he takes over, I really do.

Maybe, given his connection with the players and the club he could do it with a decent coach. I have not written him off. I would support him with a big name alongside. Not a Direcor of Football FCS.

I dont want McDonald to get it, but why should he be rock bottom behind people who as mentioned above have failed multiple times. Koeman is just a name because he was a good player. Rubbish manager!

I'm with alan _clarke.

Koeman is a name player not manager. We are Aston Villa remember.

Right if that's the calibre we are looking at, then keep KMac, he can be no worse.

It's all gone a bit quiet.  Anyone heard* any rumours today?
Also does anyone know where the interviews are taking place?  As it would be virtually impossible to smuggle any prospective manager into VP or BH.

* pun not intended.
