He might feel after 5/6 yrs at Everton it is time for a change, and Everton and their fans might feel the same, after all they have a ready made replacement.
He's there 8 years at this stage.

He did'nt say he did'nt want the job, he said he was loyal to Everton.

If i was a prospectice employer this statement would'nt have put me off, it implys he will do as Everton wish, if they are prepared to release him, then he is likely to leave.

Whose the ready made replacement?

My only gripe with Moyes is that he seems have trouble spotting a decent striker. Yakubu cost them a fortune and has flopped, Saha is not a bad player but very injury prone and Anichebe, well enough said. His midfield and defensive buys have been pretty much spot on though.

In fairness, our best striker came through the youth setup, and the other two are huge useless wastes of space who wouldn't recognise the goal if it had signposts next to it. things can hardly get worse, in that respect.

He's signed Beckford which hasn't worked out yet, but Saha when healthy has been excellent.

He has never had the money to buy a top class striker.
I would be 100% behind Moyes, but I can only dream of his appointment as I think we have no chance of getting him!

I don't know, Yakubu cost them £11m and they paid around the same for Fellani and the russian bloke who they signed last year (who looks a good player) cost nearly £9m. He's had a fair whack to spend in fairness. He's be an interesting choice if it came off though.

yes he did. However good a manager is they will always sign duds. Ferguson, MON, Moyes, Wenger, Benitez. I bet even Capello and Hiddink have. Every one of those players seemed a great deal at the time.

Moyes is overrated in the market. £20million on Beattie, Johnson and Koldrup for example. £12million on Fellaini was big money too.

His net spend bracket looks handsome because he was fortunate enough for Man Utd to give them £30million quid for a 16 year old and Man City to pay three times the market value for Lescott.

That said he's one of the better managers in the country and probably among the best younger managers in Europe, I'd love him here.

'Cos Randy was seen 'embracing' (whatever that means) Moyes at the game yesterday so people have put 2+2 together and lumped on.

I really think you can't read a thing into betting patterns. A rumour starts, people bet on it, the odds come down, people use the odds coming down as a source for the rumour.

It's crazy.
