I still think Carlos Queiroz is a possibility. He'd love the job but we'd have to wait until after the international games next week. There's no way he'd walk out on Portugal so close to a Euro qualifying game. But after, I think he's had enough with the Portuguese FA and a return to England would be ideal for him.

Has the recent results made KM an untenable choice for RL now?

I think so.

I think he's proven himself not to have the motivational ability required nor to be able to command a dressing room of multi-millionaires.

Not only results but performances and his lack of passion to want the job. I have said before, we need a quality proven manager, not a gamble. This is not Bullseye!

I might be hung for saying this, but the noses have a good manger who has not yet signed a contact.

Agreed - we were talking about this on the way home last night. I think we could, and fear we probably will, do a lot worse. He's a great organiser, got experience, wouldn't stand any nonsense,  and I think he's still plenty of ambition (which he won't be able to satisfy at that nasty place).

It shouldn't be, but actually being linked with Phil Brown is making me titter right now.  In an hours time I'll be bawling my eyes out.

He would at least bring his own sunbed. The last one disappeared about the same time Lee Hendrie left for Sheffield United.

He must be tired of the smell by now aswell.
