This scenario. KM doesn't want and was never going to be offered the job but is provaricating to take the pressure off the board until the announcement is made. Fingers crossed.

I thought this too Robbo.  As you say fingers crossed.

Let's be thankful that the players wanted KMac to get the job -

Heaven knows what scorelines we would have had if they didn't like him-

If it's correct that he didn't shout & swear after the Newcastle rout - he clearly doesn't care enough

Perhaps I'm being unfair on the bloke, he has regularly turned out good reserve teams but
is clearly out of his depth where it really matters -

At the moment we are a rudderless ship...........if we aren't careful its going to be a Titannic
struggle this season

Oh for fucks sake we need a decent manager now! Pull your finger out Villa, even Doug with all his faults ×1000 would normally get his man. Stop pissing about and get it done. This season is about to go down the shitter if we take the easy K-Mac option, top bloke that he is. I'd even take Sven at this point.  :'(

Go to the Villa Facebook page. There are all sorts of managers being mentioned on there. Pick something out of a Pizza Hut menu and they will rave about it.
Bloody good man that Margherita is. Go get him!

Kevin Mc is not the man for the job. That much is clear. Top bloke but we need a manager now to stop the slide.

Tonight has given me a real sinking feeling

It's still worth waiting to get the right man, but I'd like to be reassured we were looking outside the club!

time is really running out now, I was hoping we'd have something wrapped up so the new manager could make a quick assesment of the squad and get the cheque book out before the deadline next week.

They are not going to get a manager currently in employment to move. The only viable option is Sven on a season long deal and review at the end of the season. He has the experience and will have the respect of the players. He's also worked with Ireland and Dunne before which will be an advantage.

Get it done Villa - the pain is too much to bear at the moment.

I feel for KM, he never asked to be put in this position.

I have never quite understood why Managers stand on the side just watching the game and not jumping up and down, urging their team on and showing passion. MON, for all his faults, couldn't stand still.  I liked that about him.  It's not a pre-requisite for bringing in a new Manager but it's something that Villa fans generally would rather see.

I'm sure he could have said No.

This made my angry on Sunday at Newcastle.  Nobody was in the technical area directing the team.

To be honest once the players are on the pitch there is not much you can you, it's not a computer game where you can choose where your players pass to. I seriously doubt jumping around shouting has much effect on the game.
