I fear we are and it really worries me what this season holds. Standing still for 12 months means going backwards in this league and we will undo some of the progress O'Neill for all his faults, has brought us.

I may be being overly pessimistic but there is a small part of me that hopes we cock the next couple of games up so that McDonald doesn't seem such an easy option. I always want us to win but maybe I won't be quite so disappointed if we don't.

Klinsman is my preferred choice.  I said at the beginning of this thread that I expected it to be Jol, which I'll know recount and say I think K-Mac will get it for  a year.

Bob Bradley on SSN at the moment, saying that he'd be very interested in the job, but no discussions have taken place between him and the club. He's also said that he doesn't know Randy personally, just through his ownership of the Browns.

Yeah, you'd have thought if it was BB Randy wanted, then the club would have met him by now.

He was interviewed on the telephone from LA I believe

EDIT: That doesn't mean he doesn't live in Houston, but he's not there at the moment anyway

I'm expecting we'll start to hear a few rumours after tomorrow night's Champions League games.

Yeah, good call Mark. You would expect clubs that didn't quite live the dream to want to cash in on certain players and even managers.
I'll be watching the Ajax - Kiev game with interest.

i still wont mind if they do give it to KM,
i'm sick of overpaid suits [not at villa], strolling around blaming the ref  for everything, talking bollox, and in Svens case knobbing everything that moves,

if he learns from his mistakes he will be better than most on the list
i still think we need a coach rather than a talking head

If Sunday showed us anything it was that we need more than just a coach.
