I've just watched Kevin MacDonald interview on Sky Sport News and, as I think others may have pointed out, he does seem to be talking as if the job is his if he wants it! He said something along the lines of 'I'll see how this week goes and then decide if it's what I want to do'.Now, if that is the case then I think it is sightly worrying. I personally don't think he's the man for the job at all, but the idea that perhaps we are waiting to see what he decides implies quite strongly, I think, that he is the preferred candidate.
Nobody seems to have mentioned this yet. How much was the news that this US manager (Bradley) was interested and had been in contact to do with yesterday's capitulation?Do the players see no hope if he is the only one to show an interest. Apart from Maradonna?
I would be apoplectic if we got Bob Bradley in. That would be the nail in the coffin for me as to whether to go next season to be honest.I was no MON fan, but to go for such an inexperienced replacement would be going an awfully long way backwards to my mind.
And what if Bradley were appointed, much to the annoyance and derision of most, and he wasn't completely useless? maybe we should just wait and see before we start trying to burn randy's effigy for daring to bring shit into the club. Not that I think Bradley is that bad a call as I've mentioned elsewhere. Just because he's American doesn't mean he cannot amke a success of it.
