If it is Klinsmann, and i hope it is- i voted for him as soon as this threads poll was published, then cam i be the firts with a prediction..

The picture will reappear of him leaning up against one of the terrace crash barriers at the back of an empty Holte End. The picture was taken the night before we beat Inter Milan 2-0.

It appeared in a subsequent match day programme. If anybody has got a copy of the picture that they can scan can you please do so? I’m sure i haven’t imagined it!

Put them up in a B&B in Luton/ Milton Keynes, simple.

If we want Klinsmann to come we need to conceal the very existence of Luton, Milton Keynes, Flitwick, Leagrave, in fact just about everything between Great Missenden and Worcester.

Tut tut Damon.  If you're hoping for the ITN "Home Counties Correspondent" gig you're going to have to do better than that.  None of those places you rightly suggest concealing are between Great Missenden and Worcester.  In fact, the area between those two towns contains some rather lovely places, such as Moreton-in-Marsh and Evesham.

I think the area you're looking for would best be described as that between Market Harborough and St Albans.

He did a great piece of egg smuggling last night, though.

Does that mean he has extremely large nipples?

I hope it's that rather than some Pet Shop Boys style double entendre.

Gullit went to Chelsea as he used to have posters of Hoddle on his wall and wanted to play for his footballing hero.

Maybe Klinsman is a huge fan of the bicycle kick and wants to return to where it all began?

hahahahaha

Hmm. It's no surprise, I suppose. Definitely been some sort of contact then, even of it is via 'representatives'. I personally don't think he'd be the disaster some think, to be honest, although I do think he might need some direction with regards transfers etc., at least to begin with.

Bradley should not even be on our radar.

So his representatives have advised he is available for the job, Villa have simply said thank you for your enquiry. That could be the contact. The same contact we probably had with Maradonnas European Representative.

Which match did one of the TV channels have on where Klinnsmann was a pundit and he pretty much was touting himself out for a job (or so the comments went at the time)?

Bradley said in the interview that it was his representatives who called Villa to find out the situation and to put his name forward.

He's just bigging himself up for the job, which is fair enough. I thought he came across very well.

I don't imagine there is a shortage of agents and representatives recommending their clients for the job to the club. Doesn't mean any of them will get it though.

As it stands I think the first decision, with regards to the full time job, is that of K-Mac. If he want's it it is his I think.

If he says no (as I think he may well do) then we will see someone else in before the Everton game.

I'd still like us to push the boat out and go for Pellegrini, with K-Mac as his assistant.

With Bradley, it's amazing how one word constitutes a lie. It was quite clear from the interview that it was Bradley's representatives who went to Randy to ask about the situation and were told that we were being patient, compiling a shortlist and trusting K Mac in the short term at least. The news update immediately after said "Bradley confirms contact FROM Aston Villa". That, I'm afraid, is literally a lie.

I'm coming round to the idea of Koeman. His management CV is more impressive than Klinsmann or, arguably, Jol.

How is that a lie?  He has had contact from Aston Villa.
