If Bradley were appointed to crack the American Market then I would suggest the wrong man would be running our club- hope it doesn't happen , but interesting theory.

As one of the token Yanks on H&V, I feel it my duty to comment on the breaking news, err, gossip.  An American manager at Villa may or may not crack the American Market.  One thing would have much greater odds of success at cracking the American Market - and that is WINNING!  I don't think Bob Bradley can help Villa win any more than any of the other names in the poll.  I'm really hoping all this Bob Bradley talk is rubbish.

You're right east19. But he's a businessman before a football club owner. He isn't in the same league as man city's and chrlsea's owners where this is just a toy that when they get bored will just throw it to one side when something newer and shinier comes along. So he does and will have to do things from a business point of view.

That doesn't mean his intentions are bad. Jut that maybe, he needs to break that Market. Get a few million Americans  buys Ashley young or brandley jr shirts along with tv deals to be able to compete with man city in the long run.

I'm certainly not saying that is what he is doing by the way. The strange, wonderful thing about this hurdy girdy is that absolutely nobody knows what this man is going to do. And because he his so private nobody knows what is is like so can't even second guess him.

Arsene Wenger was considered a bit of a risky appointment when he was whisked away from that footballing giant that is the J-League.  "Arsene Who?" were the headlines.

Mourinho also had zero Premier League experience befroe joining Chelsea.

You're right, but he had done ok at Porto don't you think!

But both had experience within European football and with setups that have transfer systems. BB might be a good coach but he has no experience of being a manager.

But he also had already won a Champions League title with Porto.  Bob Bradley has only one domestic league win and two domestic cup wins.  Mourinho, before Chelsea, had two domestic league wins, one domestic cup win, a domestic super cup win, a UEFA cup win, and a Champions League win.  Sounds like apples and oranges.  But I'm glad at least somebody is being optimistic.

Apart from Moyes, and maybe Billic, I would take a drunk from the Witton Arms over the other contenders on that list!
Yeah, Jol, Hitzfeld and Pellegrini, what utterly shit managers they are, ey?

No sign of it anywhere from official sources on the Internet. Even if he does resign that doesn't mean he'll be our next manager. Randy first said that he'll get someone in by the Newcastle game. Then he said he's in no rush what so ever. You wouldn't come out saying those things if you're about to tie up a manager so soon. U say those things because at the moment there absolutely no one on the radar

its probably a load of Talkshite bollocks, but if it IS Bradley, then surely theyd have the sense to bring a Director of Football type who knows their European tranfer market eggs to work alongside?

That would make sense - a Sven and Brad dream ticket?

Just been told by someone I trust to tell the truth. One of our players(who shall remain nameless) was out on the razzle after the Valencia game ripping MON to pieces. Saying the players didn't really like him very much and that his tactics were shite. This was while he was still in charge as well.

Would that be one of the first team? It would be more interesting if it was since the media seem to think his first 11 all loved him.
