Chico, haha, while 'Plug' is a contender I still think 'Big' Sam is the champ with regards to sweat-drenched upper lip.

Klinsmann third favourite with pretty much everyone now, I see.

I would add Klinsmann to the list of managers we wont get. He is waiting for an established CL club with a bit of cash to spend. We are neither.

The thing about Klinsmann, though, is that didn't he refuse to move from California back to that Germany when he took the national job?

If so, is he going to do that to take a club job?

I always felt that Joachim Low was the real talent as coach when Klinsmann was in charge and he's done pretty well since Klinsmann went back to his beachfront mansion and surfer-dude VW Camper.

I don't see why, and I don't see that he's necessarily first choice for those sorts of clubs. Villa could be the type of job he's looking for.

For me it has to be a dream team pairing of Diego Maradona and Ian Holloway. I can't see any of the mentioned names getting us to stay in 6th place so if nothing else I should hope to be chuckling my tits off. We would then be a classier version of Man City. The media would love us too, something we have become slightly used to.

No ex-players please, it hurts when the fans turn on them when times are hard.

If Pellegrini could speak English, he would be my first choice. I still want Jol, or Martinez, and I think both are achievable.

Here's something random.

On Saturday (when Randy had also flown back to the States)  Klinsmann was visiting Seattle Sounders, who are owned by a friend of his, Drew Carey.

Drew Carey is a native of Cleveland, and a close friend of the Lerner family. He also supports Villa.

Although, like they often do over there, not just us

Quote
"Plus, I follow Barcelona in the Spanish League and Chelsea, Aston Villa and Fulham in the English Premier League."

Klinsmann was wanted by Lerner first time around.

Therefore, I put it to you, that what might seem like a tenuous series of links is actually proof that our next manager will be Klinsmann.

Well, Klinnsman WAS second choice last time around. That's not a tenuous link.

The others are, frankly, brilliant.

if its an emergency appointment for 12 months, i'd rather have Big Ron or Brian Little in than Svennis,

I had a tenner at 16/1 yesterday, Monty.

After my MON as first to leave cashbonanza, I reckon I'm on a streak.

Big Ron is too old. Brian Little I could live with.

200/1 for Ranieri is a decent bet as an outsider.

I would be lumping my money on Sven the way it is going though.

I'd only want Klinsmann if he bought Joachim Loew with him,as I think he was the brains and Klinsmann was the....not sure what he was.
