I still haven't ruled out KMac being made permanent manager. As has been said before he is very ambitious,  seems to have good tactical sense, and by the sounds of Friedel's interview yesterday is well-respected by the players. If we beat West Ham well on Saturday he could be rewarded with the job full-time.

Ricky Sbragia. That's all.

Tony Barton. That's all.

You mean we're currently league champions, fantastic.

To be fair, we're hardly like Sunderland were when Sbragia was manager either, so each of our points is as irrelevant as the other's.

To be fair Ricky Sbragia got the job solely because he had a few good results and the players wanted him. To start with he didn't even want the job and it's not as if he did that badly considering they improved only slightly with Bruce at the helm spending Ellis Short's millions.

If that fat Yam-Yam comes anywhere near B6, other than with Blackeye, then I'll shoot him.

I wouldn't worry about Big Sam - our chairman is now divorced so we wouldn't appeal to him.

I usually keep it to myself but I don't mind Allardyce, he's a good manager and a few years ago I wanted him to get the England job ahead of McLaren.

But for Villa? No way.

well, he's not my ideal choice either but between Sven, Southgate, McClaren and Allardyce, I'd choose the latter

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere and I'm sorry to 'ITK' everyone but a friend who works in the airport says he saw Sven there earlier today.  It sounds like top drawer bullshit but I'm just passing it on.  He doesn't support anybody so I'd be inclined to believe him.

Thankfully there are other choices, other countries ya know.

I'm warming to the idea of Klinnsman. I think that plenty of people (myself included) had lumped him in with Van Basten in the "great player, atrocious manager" group, but hearing him speak about the game, looking at what he did with Germany (the current strategy which paid off so famously at the World Cup was largely thanks to him), the fact that he knows England, wants to play good football - I wouldn't mind him at all. Plus he'd have learnt from his harshly judged time in charge of Bayern. You only really learn by making mistakes.

Just watched Ian Holloways interview on SSN, that bloke is a breath of fresh air to the prem. If Randy's view is live within our means (which I personally agree with) why not bring Holloway in. He will have a decent squad of players at his disposal with some great young kids coming through, and a few quid to spend. He would get the best out of all of the players with his no nonsense attitude, would not have his favourites so would play the best performers. At least when you went upto Villa Park you know they would all have a right go at the opposition. Yes he has no prem experience but with an experianced no 2 I think he would do well.

what's alladyce done wrong not to be in with a shout?
He did excellently at Bolton and pulled off some "glamour" signings when he was there.
Things were taking time at Newcastle, but they were impatient and fired him. They went down!
He saved Blackburn from relegation.
He's experienced and wouldn't need any settling in time.

You'll also remember that due to the drab football he got Bolton playing, their attendances were absolutley woeful. Blackburn's are not much better now.

That's a no from the Clampy Jury by the way.

Allardyce would be the final straw for me I think.  Awful, percentage football, no pedigree beyond top 8 and the sweatiest top lip in the game.

Personally, if we are genuinely entering austere times, then there is no better guy out there than Simon Grayson who has proved that he can manage a big club and on a budget.  He could be the new MO'N having earned his stripes.

If you get Sven, you had better lock up your wives, mothers, daughters, dogs and cats. He started well at city, but was clueless near the end and he does like to spend lots of cash. One good thing he has never lost a match against fergiescum and his rag army, so you will get at least six points

Cheers
