King Carlos

At least Pellegrini might understand the phrase "defensa central".

Would it be racist to say 'No fucking micks need apply please'? I've had a belly full after the last two.

Yes.

Someone I know who works in the game threw up a name last night that intrigued me........Glenn Hoddle.
Glenn Hoddle ?
I'd throw up as well.

Wouldn't set foot in VP he he was made manager. There is a reason why he has been managerless for an age. Self righteous prick

Not sure, I suggest you go and have a quiet word with Richard Dunne and ask him. I'm sure he'll only be too pleased to explain.

Anyone heard this 'Sven spotted at Birmingham airport' rumour?

Would it be the same guy who spotted beckham getting into a taxi and heading for villa park when oneil first took over?

No, but I'm going to guess that it's a load of bullshit.

Anyone heard this 'Sven spotted at Birmingham airport' rumour?

Maybe he's just going on holiday to the Mediterranean island of Lesbos to try his luck.

I think with the arrival of Citeh and re-emergence of Spurs this season is very much a one step back to make two steps forward. I can see something like this happening  -

Marshall, Shorey, Bouma, Gardner, Harewood gone.

Ship out the dead wood: Beye, Osbourne, Salifou, Sidwell, Heskey.

Move on/let go the elder players who are on big wages: Friedel, Luke, Carew.

Finish in the top 8 this season to consolodate, surely have a new permanent manager in by the start of next Summer and ship out that lot above and we'd be left with something like this:

Guzan
Dunne, Collins, Cuellar, Davies Warnock
Ireland, Petrov, NRC, Delph, Young, Albrighton
Agbonlahor, Delfouneso

With potentially Sigergist, Clark, Lichaj, Bannan and Weimann to add if any of them prove they're good enough over the coming season.

The new man will have a core squad of 13 core, capable players, with a massive pot of money ontop to spend on adding 5-7 ontop to create his own team.

The long term future is bright, IMO.

Sounds feasable but we cannot afford to lose the momentum we have gained under MON. Think the right manager with Ireland and Keane on board can still make this a very good season .......

If there's any truth that Spurs value Keane at £11m, I really hope we tell them where to stick their aging top earner. Let's face it, they need the money and if we don't buy him who else will? £7m max and a two year contract with an option for an additional 12 months would just about be acceptable. I'd prefer somebody else, even if it means a loan deal, which I think we'll see a lot of this summer.
