Interesting to read that Klinsmann was part of the brains-trust behind the current German set up after their disappointing previous World Cup. That he has the ability to look to youth, look to the future and look at the game at a technical level gives me a bit of wood. I've just seen him as a blond hippy who likes to do dive bombs along the grass.

Him or Jol please.

Although risk often brings reward, I feel that Bradley would be too big a risk and not something that the board would chance at this stage.

Curbishley.....I'll go no further with that. [Homer Simpson shudder]

No to Bob Bradley.

Above all else the next manager has to have the immediate respect of the players.

A number of candidates have that, with what they've achieved in the game in either a playing or management capacity. And MON would have had that respect. Initially, at least.

But if the conversation ever gets round to "show us your medals" what's Bob Bradley going to say?

I just couldn't see any of our lot taking him seriously.

Not sure too many of our players are in that position to brag about to be honest.

My concern with Bradley would be his lack of experience. The USA played some good football in the World cup but as Scolari found out out at Chelsea - the Premiership is something totally different.

What im finding strange is this morning i have the feeling of 'excitement' for the new season.
Maybe its a new era, a manager who uses the world transfer market, isnt one dimensional and doesnt buy half a team to then not play them!? Obviously it all hinges on WHO comes in but one things for sure, none of us should really doubt Lerner yet and see what the boards plan is first before we go off the handle.

I also think Jol would be the best bet for us if Ajax can be persuaded with hard cash.

Along shot probably, but Glenn Hoddle would tick the boxes in terms of attractive football, tactical nous and knowledge of the European market - hasn't been flavour of the month for some time but he's an intelligent guy and has platyed and managed at the top level.

Surely Jol will be chomping at the bit about the possibility of joining us!? Think he would even resign to free up the move!! (Im wishing)

Eileen Drewery would be a better option than Hoddle.

I would like Martin Jol, as I think that he has the pedigree for where we are at  now, but I think somehow we are gonna get Klinsmann

No, no and thrice no. His religious views, especially his comments about disabled people make him a definite non-starter for me.

PS - "Platyed" ? What do you know about Hoddle's antics with strange Australian animals ?

The list is depressing isn't it ?

Why dont we have Moyes and let Bilic go back to Everton.

Because Moyes will be the next Man Utd manager
