O'Leary was obviously a bijou jokette, but other than that I think as wide a choice as possible is a good idea.  You may not want Pearce or Southgate, but enough different posters may do.  Hard to tell at this early stage.

Would want Moyes, but can't see why he would come, so have plumped for Jol. Not really an inspiring list though.

It's a depressing list, which is why I couldn't understand people asking for Martins head - replace him with who exactly? It's a piss poor choice isn't it!!

Ideal would be a Hiddink or Hitzvelt wouldn't it.

Jol is like a MON with better football and more transfer links, but not as solid at the back.

Totally senseless basis to make an appointment, but I have vague memories of reading that Martin Jol attended a certain game in Rotterdam in 1982.

If I take off the Villa spectacles, it will be very interesting to see Randy's commitment and how he deals with this situation.

I don't buy the argument we couldn't be a better footballing side. Look what Martinez did with negative cash resources at Wigan and what Hodgson did at Fulham. Both made rapid changes.

Any midfield with Petrov, Young, Downing should be able to pass the bloody football. Playing proper full backs on both sides, and not playing two centre fwds picked for their raw athleticism, would make a huge difference.

Randy will be in the UK tomorrow. Things should be clearer then.

Bilic or Bradley for me. Only because I am completely underwhelmed by the other choices, so a vote for an unknown seems as good a choice as any.

Do you reckon he's popped back home to pick up Bob Beamon or whatever his name is over the last day or so?
