We'll I've just got a new pm from April 9 2006. Its not one i've read before and does genuinely seem to be from 2006 .  How strange!

Well done Martin.. your hard work is appreciated . Like others I am a bit of a techophobe so it may take me a while to get used to the changes (its an age thing). Cheers 8)

Any one else getting funny jumps when using the Next/Previous buttons on the button Right? I seem to jump from a page 1 on the new Site Topic to page 5 of the Spammers pre match topic... Maybe I've got a bum setting in firefox somewhere.

On the old version it was more obvious when first logging on which posts were now, the colours seemed to work well.

Just noticed it doesn't list our join date anymore. I miss that!

For those of us that have been around over 10 years, the join date was irrelevant anyway - we are on the umpteenth different forum now.
I think I joined 22 January 2005. So, approaching six years.

I appreciate the hard work you guys do with the site, been reading H&V forever... but I have to admit I don't like the new  format. I find the colour scheme very dull and it's harder to read. It's also harder to notice who's posting and takes more effort. I think a lot is to do with the colour scheme though.

A large number of our users look at H&V from work (it is where l do a lot of work on here) so a less 'in your face' theme is required. Too much claret and blue does not make a good theme, and it is hard to come up with a colour scheme that pleases everyone.

We are always open to suggestions regarding the colours or anything else.

Very good, thanks for all your hard work Marin and all.

The next and previous links are my only gripe, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I know it's very much a no-no, but I think a small avatar would allow us to recognise posters easier. Maybe I'm just lazy but I find it's harder to get familiar with posters when trying to remember usernames.  8)
